School limits - pedagogy:

The system at school teaches children that the only things worth learning are the things bestowed into the brains by the curriculum creators, test pushers, publishing companies, and teachers. In our era of information age, there is not anymore only one way. The problem with seeing only one solution is that it is reducing the complexity of the reality too much. Places of learning should be open all the time and anyone should be able to go there and access information, ideas, tools and people who know ideas and information. We are witnessing a change of paradigm in the school system. The role of teacher is changing. They are no more the traditional centre of knowledge as they used to be. Their role should evolve in becoming more and more a "guide", a "catalyst". Failure to understand that fact, is leading the school system to a big waste of energy and time. The whole structure would have to evolve but the system is too rigid and resists change too much.
